YHA Cardiff / Youth Hostel
YHA Cardiff is situated next to Roath ParkCardiff's most attractive public park and is 2 miles from the city centre.The hostel has pleasant shared rooms, a large dining room, self-catering kitchen, and a comfortable lounge. Showers are conveniently situated close to the rooms and there are plenty of them.
The staff will give you a warm welcome and be of great assistance in helping you plan your stay in Cardiff. We have plenty of information on what to see and do and how to get there.
Food - An excellent breakfast buffet is included in the price. The Hostel only provides evening meals for groups. There is an excellent pizza restaurant opposite the hostel and an Indian restaurant in the other direction. Both do take away meals. If you prefer pub food then this available just up the road. The Hostel has a small food shop and the supermarkets are close by.
Chilling out - If you need a couple of days to chill out then YHA Cardiff is the place for you. Close by the Hostel is Roath park, it has a large boating lake for some gentle rowing exercise and beautiful gardens in which to read a book. There's even a tropical house in which to shelter from the rain.
If you've been partying in the town centre during the night or enjoying one of the many sporting events that Cardiff hosts, then just book another night at the Hostel and make use of our facilities all day, recuperate for another night of fun and laughter. Alternatively, take a tour around Cardiff and enjoy its history and heritage, centred around Cardiff Castle. The Millennium Centre and Millennium Stadium are a must see.

At the hostel you can buy the Wales Flexipass ticket - one ticket for most of the buses and trains in Wales with discounts for many attractions.
