The Abbey Hotel
The Abbey Hotel sits in a prime location on the side of the beautiful Wye Valley, overlooking the famous Tintern Abbey. The village itself dates back to 765AD, its history featuring Bronze Age activity, Romans, Vikings, Normans and the builders of the Abbey, founded in 1131.
The Abbey Hotel has recently refurbish all its facilities and now offer 23 en-suite bedrooms. Most of our bedrooms overlook the Tintern Abbey ruins, which we are fortunate to have right on our doorstep.
Our Restaurant offers a Select Carvery menu seven days a week from 12.00noon to 3.00pm where you can create any size meal to match your appetite. In the evenings we feature our Hungarian chef Emil Brown's evening dinner menu by candlelight. We also offer an individually priced bar menu from 12.00noon to 9.00pm Monday to Sunday in our main bar.
The Abbey Hotel has a suite of newly appointed function rooms that can be used separately or together so whatever your requirements we can cater for events from a small boardroom meeting to a function serving 100 people.
