The light & airy upstairs lounge overlooks the ancient walled kitchen garden. Gamekeepers is beautifully maintained & provides warm & comfortable accommodation for all year round holidays. A clearing in the woods beside the cottage creates a secluded sitting & parking area. By Car, Porth Trwyn beach at Borthwen is 1.6 miles, Church Bay beach 2 miles.
This is a very special place, a 500 acre Country Estate nestling close to the north western coast of the Isle of Anglesey just south of Church Bay. A 20 minutes' stroll through woodlands & fields brings you to a lovely little sandy beach sheltered between low lying cliffs. The Coastal Path around the Island passes through, leading you to more secret coves nearby. Majestic deciduous trees provide a haven for many species of birds - 'twitchers' paradise'. There are many footpaths in this area, good swimming beaches, coarse fishing (1 mile & Llyn Alaw 5 miles), sea fishing trips (Cemaes 6 miles), Cycle route & working mill (Llandeusant 2 miles). The Lobster Pot restaurant (01407 730241/398 for opening times) 2 miles by road, small shop (Llanfaethlu village 1 mile). Within 8 miles are a choice of restaurants, pubs + bar meals, various take-aways, 3 supermarkets, golf, horse riding, watersports school & leisure centre + indoor pool. Holyhead for day trips across the Irish Sea to Ireland (9 miles), Menai Bridge (30 mins), Snowdonia (50 mins).
