Shearwater Safaris - Pembrokeshire
Shearwater Safaris offers a chance to see a beautiful waterway or to see spectacular wildlife of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park islands.
See marine mammals and sea birds at close quarters aboard a large dry and comfortable R.I.B. Its surprising how close you will come to wild Puffins and seals aswell as all the other countless wildlife. On some occasions its possible to see Bottle Nosed Dolphins or Porpoise play.
Our Grassholm trip leaves at 1400 every day (weather permitting as it is a bit further offshore). On Grassholm is one of the largest Gannet colonies in the world and is truly spectacular to see.
The other island trips go around Skomer and Skokholm and these islands have lovely bays and coves to see birds like Puffins, Razorbills and Oystercatchers as well as the many Common and Grey seals.
We offer 1 or 2 hour river trips on the Cleddau. The 1 hour trip is a fast and fun (but also very comfortable) trip down the waterway to St. Ann's Head (at the lighthouse), passing the port of Pembroke, oil terminals and ships at close quarters.
All trips are on fully MCA licensed R.I.Bs and are driven by highly qualified crew. Coats and leggings are provided for your comfort and protection from the wind. All major credit catds taken.
