    What a fantastic, friendly restaurant!

It is often the case that in Indian restaurants it feels like your part of a production line during service and once you've eaten they can't wait to get rid of you. This is usually accompanied by only satisfactory food.

This is nothing at all like the Vegetarian Food Studio. Jim is a friendly and attentive host and always makes sure that all the diners are happy. The other staff were efficient and also friendly.

We had a mixed platter with popadums to start (recommended by Jim himself and is suitable for about 4 people), which allowed us to sample a wide variety of starters on the menu. Highly recommended. Everyone was also very happy with the mains ordered. I had a Channa Masala - a chickpea based dish - with jeera rice. Very Tasty!

I have also had some very tasty take-away from here, much better than any I've had elsewhere.

This place is excellent. Authentic Indian food, very good value.
Décor is more cheap and cheerful café than posh restaurant but price of food reflects this also.
Range of food is superb. Specialist dishes from Southern India not normally available from your typical English Indian menus.
Finally, home delivery service and student special menu (new dishes delivered daily for £5 per day!) mark this as a different dining experience.

Totally agree - the best Indian sweets I've had in ages!
