My wife and I visited the harbour inn solva on the 13th of july 2008. At the bar I was met by a surly grey haired gentleman in his sixties who poured me 2 pints in the wrong glasses.
I asked him if I could start a tab as we would like some food and he replied [I want your card] I explained I would be paying cash and he muttered something and said OK
After choosing our food from the menu my wife went to order and told him we had a tab running which he claimed to know nothingb of.
My wife ordered the fish WITH NO CHIPS mushy peas and salad.
I had a crab salad.
After a long wait the food arrived
Fish with CHIPS totally cold mushy peas and 2 limp lettuce leaves.
My crab was inedible with scales and bones throughout and of very poor quality accompanied by a very limp dried out salad.
The 2 lagers we ordered was disgusting with the beerlines badly in need of a clean.
To put it in a nutshell
Poor drinks
Bad food
Bad service
Tourist rip off
