As featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, the Hen & Chickens is becoming a well known food destination, and is a fringe site of the annual Abergavenny Food Festival. There is an extensive menu on offer with top quality home cooked food from the finest local produce. Food is served between 12pm ad 7pm from Monday to Saturday and from 12pm to 3pm on a Sunday. The inside of the Hen & Chickens is delightfully furnished, and the pub serves a wide selection of fine ales and wines. An upstairs function room holds up to 60 people with a private bar. Regular entertainment includes live jazz every Sunday afternoon.
