The Pick & Shovel has an urban location on the main road between Treforest and Pontypridd close to the University of Glamorgan. The pub has been recently developed and manages to comfortly accomodate both students and locals with it's mix of traditional atmosphere with contemporary decor and furnishings. The pub has a large plasma TV, and numerous smaller TFT screens dotted around the pub allowing an excellent viewing experience for live sport. There is an extensive menu, offering classic bar snacks, pub food, and more substantial dishes. THIS IS A MATCH DAY TICKET PUB.
