Since it’s conception in 2000, the Bay has moved from being a classic promenade hotel on the Aberystwyth coast to a bustling student venue. The Bay is furnished in a ‘no frills’ style, this makes it popular as somewhere to have a good time. There are two bars, one upstairs with a 350 capacity, and a downstairs club that can hold 30 people well into the early hours of the morning. The Bay is open until 1am from Monday to Wednesday, until 2am from Thursday to Saturday, and until 12 Midnight on Sundays. On Monday nights the Bay hosts the Indie Society and on Friday nights, the Rock Society.
