In 1995 the managing director, Andrew Lamb, opened the first mountain bike hire business in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Since then Wales Outdoors has grown year on year and now holds a unique position in the adventure activities sector.
Our staff ratios, kit provision, staff selection and training programmes are industry leading and backed up by a carefully selected peer group who meet regularly to discuss and revise our individual company policies. This approach has been well recieved by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.
We do not run the largest adventure company in Wales, but we operate a safe, friendly and client orientated business that is actively pursuing innovative approaches to fun and educational provision.
Our current business plan includes further activity specialisation and development alongside continueing to build lasting partnerships with existing customers.
